Lynne K. Baker, DDS, MD

Dr. Lynne Baker was raised in Manhattan, Kansas. She attended Kansas State University from 1983-1987, where she received a double major in pre-dentistry and modern languages. She spent her junior year at KSU studying abroad in Giessen, Germany at the Justus Liebig Universitaet.
Dr. Baker was admitted to the University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry in 1987. After completing dental school in 1991, she was accepted into the dual degree oral surgery program at UMKC, where she completed her residency training as well as earned her medical degree. Following this, she served in the United States Public Health Services branch of Indian Health Services providing care to the underserved Native American population of the Creek Indian Nation. She has been in private practice since 2000.
Dr. Baker has served as the president of the Topeka District Dental Society as well as the Heartland Dental Study Club. She has served as the Secretary-Treasurer for the Kansas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for several years. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Kansas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association and the American Medical Association. She is on staff at Stormont Vail Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas.
Dr. Baker is actively involved in volunteer programs. She donates her time and expertise to the Marion Clinic, the Topeka Rescue Mission and to the Donated Dental Services program. She is also a part of the Kansas Mission of Mercy program which has donated millions of dollars in dental care to those in need.
Dr. Baker enjoys several hobbies including baking, quilting and knitting. She and her husband, Marc, enjoy spending time attheir family farm with their three sons Levi, Riggin and Cole.
